Christina Miller has been chosen for LEEP’s

“Appel Achievement Award” for February!

Christina is originally from Mankato, MN and has been involved with LEEP for a few years. She grew up with 2 sisters that she really gets a kick out of. LEEP’s Summer Rec Program was how she got involved with LEEP and she said she really enjoyed her time because she met lots of great friends.  She currently works at Lifeworks where she keeps busy with Meals on Wheels. Christina told us that she really enjoys giving her time to such a great cause.

During her time spent with LEEP, Christina has continued to get involved with various activities including Special Olympics Bowling, Special Olympics Volleyball, and Drop Ins.

In her free time, she also enjoys playing cards, putting puzzles together, watching the Twins, and of course, shopping! Three words that Christina would use to describe herself include creative, sassy, and silly. When asked what she would do if we gave her a million dollars she told us she would “marry Joe Mauer”!
