Marion “Mary Kay” Foley has been chosen for LEEP's “Appel Achievement Award” for January!

Mary Kay is originally from Litchfield but moved to Mankato in 1975 after graduating from Hutchinson High School. She currently works at the Days Inn in housekeeping and at MRCI doing a variety of jobs. At LEEP, Mary Kay participants in Special Olympics Bowling and Softball, Drop Ins, Dances, and Special Events. She also enjoys traveling with LEEP and has been on a Caribbean Cruise and to Nashville. Her favorite part of vacation was relaxing in the whirlpool. Mary Kay will also be traveling to the Florida Keys this January to swim with the dolphins.

In her free time, she also enjoys shopping, visiting family and going to movies. Mary Kay says she really likes herself and is a happy and friendly person. If Mary Kay won a million dollars, she said she would split it with her parents and quit working!
